First Few Days as a Dawg

Hi, my name is Corrie Sanders, and I have the absolute pleasure of participating in the National Student Exchange during fall 2019 which happens to be my senior year! I am majoring in experimental psychology and minoring in advertising and public relations. This semester at UGA, my courses include Spanish, developmental psychology, credibility news media & public trust, public relations, and public affairs communications. I have enjoyed venturing downtown, trying new restaurants, and walking around north campus anxiously anticipating football season! It has been a blessed to have been granted this amazing opportunity, and I am so thankful to each of my coordinators, family members, and friends who have supported me along the way!

Go Dawgs!!

Savannah's in Town

Savannah and her boyfriend got to visit me from South Carolina over the weekend! I got to show them around downtown Athens, around campus, and the Sanford Stadium. Savannah got to ring the bell- which is a tradition after a Dawg win! I am so glad they got to visit. Go Dawgs!

And That's a Wrap!

Today I reflect on my incredible semester at the University of Georgia. I ended the semester with all A's- I have God to praise for my accomplishment, and wonderful professors to thank. Each professor I had at UGA was fantastic! The Grady college at UGA (which is their college of Journalism and Mass Communications) is highly accredited, and I am very lucky to have taken some of their classes this fall. For anyone interested in the National Student Exchange program, please contact me! I am happy to answer any questions you may have. If you are contemplating going on exchange somewhere, I HIGHLY recommend it. This opportunity let me learn so much about a new university, town, people, but most of all, I learned more about myself. I am so thankful to have spent the fall of my senior year at the University of Georgia! Go Dawgs!!

SEC Championship: UGA vs. LSU

Saturday, December 7th, my dad and I went to the SEC Championship at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. It was my first time at the stadium. The outcome was not what we had hoped, but we enjoyed cheering on the bulldogs! Go Dawgs!!
