Weekend Getaway

This weekend my friends and I took a trip to Blue Ridge, Georgia. We enjoyed the cool weather in the mountains! Go Dawgs!

Meet my Roommate

I am the luckiest person ever because I was able to bring my dog, Sam on exchange with me! I got Sam for Christmas when I was nine years old, and he has been my love ever since! Sam turned twelve this September. Since we've been in Athens, the two of us have enjoyed many walks and trips to the dog park. He's gotten to meet new people, and he has adjusted very well to apartment life. During our first few weeks here, he tried a puppuccino from Starbucks for the first time! (He loved it, of course). I know everyone says they have the best dog, but I really do have the BEST dog. He is the sweetest boy!! Go Dawgs!

IT'S SATURDAY IN ATHENS

UGA vs. Kentucky game with my dad! A perk of being on exchange in Georgia is still being close to family- my dad lives in Atlanta. Tonight the game was freezing cold and very rainy. But as always, Go Dawgs!

A Plus...

There are hundreds of reasons why I have fallen in love with Athens, Georgia. A plus to all of those, is that I'm still close to Columbia. Last Friday, my dog Sam and I drove three hours back to Columbia to visit family. We enjoyed our short trip, as we came back to Athens Sunday evening. While I was home, I was able to see my mom and sister. I also got to visit with my grandma, uncle, and neighbors. While it was great to see family, I can't leave out the other members! At home, we have two cats and two dogs in addition to Sam. Of course I was happy to see my other puppies, and so was Sam! It was great to be home; however, I was definitely looking forward to being back in Athens. I am lucky enough to say Athens has also become my home. And in many ways, it makes me feel even more at home. Go Dawgs!
